Aggressive Combustion's latest game, Project Mallow launched today for PC, iOS and Android. The game is a puzzle platformer with over 100 levels and the by now almost indie-standard pixelated art-style. The reviews and trailer look good.
Aggressive Combustion is an independent game developer studio behind Project Mallow. The game is a "brutal 2D puzzle platformer", and it becomes available today. When it launches (right now Steam says that will happen in approximately 7 hours), the game will be available all over the place.
By all over the place I mean Steam, Itch.io, iTunes App Store, Google Play, and Amazon App Store. I'll leave the links somewhere at the end of this article, don't want you running off too soon now. The N-Gage version doesn't have a release date at this time.
Aggressive Combustion
Project Mallow has been hailed by customers as "a fun little game". It is a fairly difficult 2D puzzle platformer about an "adorable, sentient marshmallow tasked with launching and sticking his way across 100+ unique levels to escape a candy factory". As it is always the case, the little guy will stumble upon "dangerous secrets about the factory’s owner and history".
Common obstacles like flames, saw blades, lasers, and other scary things are very much present. Other than that, the game's features include:
- Brutally difficult, hardcore puzzle-platforming
- Over 100 unique levels
- Customise your MALLOW with different accessories
- Generally functional
- Has some neat mechanics
Aggressive Combustion
So it's a puzzle-platformer with more than 100 levels, that you traverse using a generally functional, customisable marshmallow and some neat machines.
Project Mallow is available through Steam for around £6.49. There will also be a special promotion to celebrate the launch so you'll be able to grab it for less moneys.
