Lunar New Year is kicking off in just a few days in Pokemon GO and here are all the details you will need during the event.
Niantic announced that the Lunar New Year is kicking off in Pokemon Go on January 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time. The vent will finish four days later, on January 23, at 8:00 PM.
Bonuses during the event include:
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Darumaka
- Increased chance for Lucky Pokémon in trades
- Increased chance to become Lucky Friends
- 2× Stardust from opening Gifts
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two per day
- During the Lunar New Year event, Trainers can choose from several bonuses as a reward for their Timed Research
All the Pokemon marked with a star can appear as Shiny.
