Festival of Lights 2022 is starting on October 14, 2022, at 10:00 am local time and the Pokemon Go event will last until October 17 at 8:00 pm local time.
While celebrating illumination, trainers will be able to find Morelull, a Pokemon debuting in in the game, as well as evolve it to Shiinotic by using 50 Morelull candy.
Event bonuses will include:
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Chinchou
- 2× XP for catching Pokémon
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- Uncense activated during the event will last for two hours
