Update 1.1.20 for Dune Awakening brings new gameplay features, tweaks, and quality of life changes

Funcom’s Dune Awakening update 1.1.20 adds a new Sandbike variant, Desert Mechanic decorations, better base building tools and major quality-of-life features for smoother gameplay.

Update 1.1.20 is coming to Dune Awakening and with it, all new content for the game’s deserts. Funcom has included new gameplay features, a number of tweaks, and highly requested quality of life (QoL) changes. 

Updates have been made across many different features of the game, including new faster travel options, resource shortcuts and more safe-building options. Players will also be able to explore the sands of Arrakis at an even quicker pace with a new Sandbike variant. 

New Desert Mechanic items can be used to adorn your base’s landscape and new pillar placement between walls will let you get more creative with building styles. Resource management in the day-to-day survival of the desert has been made easier with new Deposit All Blood and Deposit/Extract All Water buttons.

Other elements of the game have been updated in response to player feedback, including changes to The Exchange and new safety rules in PvE. Funcom also made some additional combat, vehicle, crafting, and technical tweaks.

  • Solido Replicator Upgrade – Now copies placeables and decorations for full base duplication.

Quality-of-Life and Fixes

Funcom has also addressed a laundry list of bugs ranging from stability, UI glitches, vehicle handling, and NPC behavior. Combat has been tuned, crafting recipes adjusted, and the deterioration rate on vehicles has been decreased. 

Visuals, animations, and sound have also received a noticeable polish that makes the game feel more immersive than ever before.With these changes, update 1.1.20 doesn’t just extend what players can do in Dune Awakening; it makes surviving the sands a much more enjoyable experience.
