EA Sports is hitting all the right notes in EA FC 26 with 12 brand new Icons to kick off the Class of 26. This year’s biggest names hail from all over Europe, and include fan-favorites like Roma legend Francesco Totti, Barcelona icon Andres Iniesta, and 10-foot tall legend Zlatan Ibrahimović.
The new Icons will be available for play in both Ultimate Team and offline modes like Career Mode, allowing fans to relive the highlights from the best years of each players’ career.
The new Icons will also be coming to FC Mobile, EA Sports confirmed. For a class that only has five players who retired more than five years ago, the Class of 26 also features some of the most well-known players from the last decade of football.
Who’s Joining the EA FC 26 Icon Roster?
The 12 new Icons also balance legendary male and female players across a variety of eras and playstyles.

- Cha Bum-Kun – ST, South Korea, 88 OVR
In addition to appearing in Ultimate Team and offline modes, each of the new Icons will also tie into EA FC 26’s new Archetype system for Clubs mode, including Ibrahimović’s “Target” archetype, Morgan’s “Finisher,” and Toni Kroos’ “Maestro”.

EA FC 26 is on track to be a salute to football history and current greatness — and with Totti, Iniesta, Zlatan and Co., there’s already a lot to look forward to ahead of kickoff.
