PlayStation 4 Technical Beta for GWENT

The Technical Beta for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game will start on 31 March at 18:00 GMT. PlayStation 4 owners from Europe, North America and South America can download the game's client from the PlayStation Store. All accounts created during the Beta will be deleted on 03 April at 07:00 GMT, when the event is scheduled to end.

Starting today, 31 March at 18:00 GMT, and ending on Monday, 03 April at 07:00 GMT, you'll be able to access the Technical Beta for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game on PlayStation 4. In this window, the players will be able to create custom decks, access the tutorial and partake in casual online matches.

Any problems encountered during this time can be reported at ps4gwent@cdprojektred.com.

PlayStation 4 users from Europe, North America and South America can download the client form the PlayStation Store. All you need to play is a PlayStation 4 and some 3Gb of space, no PlayStation Plus subscription required. What you do need on the other hand is an Internet connection.

Purchases using real-life currency will not be available and all accounts made during the Beta will be deleted upon its conclusion on 03 April.

While you won't get any Trophies for playing this version of the game, you can capture and share footage and screenshots. Just make sure you mention that the footage and screenshots are from a Technical Beta version, and not fully representative of the final product.

In other news, CD Project just announced the Witcher series sold north of 25 million copies. Now, that's the cumulative score taking all titles from the Witcher series into account. The third game in the franchise, including its expansions, raked in around £200 million.

The net profit of the CD project capital group for 2016 was equivalent to 75 percent of the profit from the previous year.
