Quite a few news coming from CD Project Red's camp today, and the latest one is about Gwent: The Witcher Card Game and if you've been hoping for a mobile edition - today's your lucky day, as the company announced iOS and Android versions.
Note that the Gwent will be arriving on Apple's iOS platform "later this year", whereas Android users will have to wait a bit more.
At this point, we can only hope that Android edition won't lag behind its iOS counterpart too much, but all CD Project Red could promise was more info at a later date.
Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's director Jason Slama said that the team have been preparing for this moment for a while, having always had the smartphone editions in their sights.
"Beautiful visuals aside, we've tailored much of our technology, including GOG Galaxy which powers Gwent's multiplayer, to support mobile devices. I think our vision for bringing Gwent to smartphones combines the best we have to offer both in terms of graphics and gameplay", he said.
Crimson Curse introduces more than 100 new cards to the game, with 13 cards for each faction and 31 neutral ones. CDPR already said that the expansion will not only feature cards to boost your existing meta decks, but allow players experimentation with brand new Crimson Curse archetypes.
If you've preordered Gwent's first expansion, you'll be getting your The Blood Armor Unseen Elder skin and Crimson Curse cardbacks, although CDPR mentioned that "slightly different versions of these items may eventually be available for purchase in the in-game shop."

They also revealed that they're working on , whose development team is much smaller than Cyberpunk 2077's. While their expectations are quite high, they said that it probably won't be as big as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt or Cyberpunk.
