Palworld or as the internet likes to call it "Pokemon with guns" just released their new update version 0.1.4.1 for Steam and 0.1.1.4 for Xbox Series X on February 7th with quite a few major bug fixes to the game.
What makes this patch special is that Pocketpair the creators of Palworld addressed one of the biggest problems in the game and that is cheating. So some anti-cheat measures were added to this patch to make this controversial game fair and more importantly fun to play.
So let's see what changes were made to this patch in detail.
Major fixes and changes made on Patch 0.1.1.4 or 0.1.4.1 Steam
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash and corrupt the save data whenever a guild captured around 7000 Pals.
- Fixed the issue which caused saved data in servers to remain in a broken state causing players to be unable to load the data.
- Fixed a bug that caused some of the weapons equipped by other players to vanish whenever a player in that multiplayer setting used a grenade.
- Fixed a problem that caused the capture rate of Lifmunk Effigies to not increase because of an internal processing bug.
- Fixed a bug that caused a Pal assigned to breeding to be in a forever sleep mode.
- Fixed a bug that did not drop wood even when a Pal in the base felled any tree.
- Last but not least, anti-cheat and countermeasures against cheaters and hackers were deployed.
As with any new game, there are usually lots of bugs to address and fix. So we can expect to see a significantly smoother game and more enjoyable gaming experience as more patches get applied and more of these issues are solved.
