The trailer for Palworld’s next major update has dropped. The Home Sweet Home update adds Ultrakill collaboration, new weapons, and fresh base customisation options to the game.
After Pocketpair teased the Ultrakill Crossover in September, many players wondered when the crossover would be available in Palworld. The studio has confirmed that the Ultrakill collaboration will launch on 17 December 2025.
The crossover adds weapons that can curve around corners, detonate in new ways, and even shoot back at enemies with redirected projectiles. The projectiles all move along erratic paths, presenting risks and opportunities.
The variety of new weapons also grants players more ways to add mobility and precision to their combat tactics, further expanding the tools players have to experiment and be creative with their battles in the world.
A Range of Weapons and Customisation Tools
Beyond weapons, the trailer also shows off a host of new base customisation options coming to Palworld. This update grants players more ways to visualise and personalise their bases, with colour options available for many of the different structures and building components in the game.
There are already many options for building custom bases in Palworld, but this is the most comprehensive customisation update the game has seen so far.
Players will have more ways to add personal touches and more expressive elements to their bases, allowing them to customise unique styles and create more visually distinct structures. The trailer also teases a more specific look at Palworld’s future, with a surprise release window for version 1.0.
Palworld 1.0 Coming in 2026
Near the trailer’s conclusion, the tone shifts significantly. The music drops out, and a full black screen with a silhouette of a massive Pal quickly takes over the screen before returning to the main gameplay trailer.
The last shot features the text: “Palworld 1.0 – 2026.” Palworld 1.0 will be the game’s full release after the early access period and is expected to include major new content, systems, and improvements that players have been waiting for throughout Palworld’s development.
