It's birthday time in Paladins and Hi-Rez folks planned several festivities, including loot boxes that players can earn by just playing the game, as opposed to using the currency in the shop.
Community 2021 Chest is a loot box that will be available in Paladins in just a few hours, starting at 4:00 AM EST / 8:00 AM UTC / 10:00 AM CEST on May 10, 2021.
You will be able to obtain the chest by playing two matches in a row in any non-bot game mode. These include:
- Team Deathmatch
- Onslaught
- Siege
- Ranked
There is a limit of four chests per day for the week of the festivities, meaning players can earn up to 28 chests in total, depending on how active they were by the end of it.
Similarly, you will be able to unlock the Paladins Birthday Spray between May 15 and 17, 2021, by playing two matches in a row in any of the aforementioned playlists.
Considering that the Overwatch anniversary event is also around the corner, you might want to hop in and get as many chests before this one ends, in case you are playing both games. The latter still doesn't have a defined start date but chances are it will start within two weeks so there shouldn't be any overlap between OW and Paladins anniversaries.
