Battlefield 2042 refund petition is picking up steam online with more than 100k signatures.

Battlefield 2042 players started a petition on Change.org, requesting refunds for the game, which has launched in a very poor state.

The game lacks content and classic Battlefield features, its first season has been officially delayed recently and the performance issues and bugs are also present.

These are just some of the reasons why Battlefield 2042 players have been aggressively refunding their purchases across all platforms.

Of course, some players are not eligible for a refund since the refund policies are very strict hence the petition on  Change.org.

A couple of days ago, the person who started the petition stated that "one of the best class-action lawsuit layers will take the case against EA" if the petition reaches 50k signatures.

At the time of writing, the petition has been signed by more than 100k players.

There is no update from the person who started the petition yet but we should be hearing more about this very soon, given that more and more players are signing the petition every hour.

It will be interesting to see if lawyers indeed pick this case up and take EA to court and how the publisher plan to respond to the petition.

At the moment EA and DICE are yet to release a statement regarding the petition.
