Outriders demo saw players finding issue with several things but two that were the most frequent offenders are camera shake and motion blur but the devs announced they are working on fixing them.
When you're playing a shooter game that can get hectic due to high-octane action, the last thing you want is something that can cause nausea, such as the shaky camera or motion blur. Outriders demo has both of these but the developers announced they are working on fixing them and some changes should become available even before the full game releases on April 1, 2021.
In the case of motion blur, the fix is rather simple and straightforward - the game will just get a toggle option for motion blur in the settings menu and we will be able to get rid of it. Now if we could only toggle the option off for all games to ever exist, that would be wonderful.
Camera shake, on the other hand, is a different beast. It applies to both cutscenes and regular dialogue interactions with NPCs. People Can Fly will not be able to fix this issue entirely during the demo but they are looking into ways to minimise its negative effect.
One way of changing that is apparently uncapping the frame rate during cutscenes and dialogues with camera shake, which should theoretically reduce the impact of the camera movement.
It's unclear if this will actually help or if we will just see the shaking in a smoother manner. Whatever the case, PFC are looking into more ways to fix the ridiculous effect.
