Since its release on September 25, Out of Time has quickly become a breakout hit for developer Manticore Games, even landing in the Top 5 sellers on the Epic Games Store during its first week. The developers have now shared some fresh stats, and let’s just say…the monsters probably wish they had called in sick.
Players have completed a massive 130,000 runs so far, cutting through a jaw-dropping 161 million enemies in the process. That’s right, over 161 million poor creatures clobbered, smashed, zapped, and probably wondering why they even got out of bed.
Damage numbers are equally absurd, with 17.9 trillion damage points dealt and 7.9 billion healed. The fastest recorded run in Normal Mode clocks in at just 101 seconds, which suggests some players have mastered the time-hopping chaos like true pros.
When it comes to favorite eras, 42 per cent of adventurers chose the Medieval setting, followed by the Wasteland (30 per cent) and Modern (28 per cent) zones.
And despite all the chaos, players are managing a 75 per cent win rate, meaning only a quarter of runs end in tragic, monster-related regret.
If these numbers are anything to go by, Out of Time isn’t slowing down anytime soon, though the monsters might be hoping for a little break in the space-time continuum.
