NetherRealm Studios, the developer of the brutal fighter Mortal Kombat 11 have shared a first look at the game's next DLC character, named Nightwolf. The short teaser on Twitter shows Nightwolf pulling off a Lightning from Above move.

Some Mortal Kombat 11 players aren't happy with Ed Boon and his continuous teasing of new fighters. With only two DLC characters introduced since the release of the brutal fighter, many players feel that more characters should have been released by now, or at least, given specific release dates.

Well, recently, Ed Boon released a short teaser for the next DLC character, set to appear in Mortal Kombat 11. It's Nightwolf, a fierce warrior that appeared in the previous instalment - Mortal Kombat X - as an NPC and was a playable character in 2011's Mortal Kombat.

In a very short teaser, Nightwolf can be seen with his tomahawk as he starts his Lightning From Above move, in which he raises his arm and summons a bolt of lightning that eventually knocks his opponent off their feet.

Unfortunately, Boon did not mention when exactly can players expect Nightwolf in Mortal Kombat 11, which once again, caused a blizzard of replies from players who expected a bit more details about the DLC characters.

We can only assume that the release of Nightwolf is around the corner since Boon is sharing the artworks and teasers on Twitter.

If you're unfamiliar with Nightwolf, well, his arsenal of weapons includes the already mentioned tomahawk, daggers and mystical bows. He can empower his tomahawks with an ethereal green flame or channel his weapons for fatalities.

Speaking of fatalities, Nightwolf can open a portal on his opponent, which teleports them and disintegrates their skin and flesh in the process. He can also electrocute and dismember his opponent with his tomahawk.

Other DLC characters that will also join the roster are and Spawn, along with two yet unannounced fighters. Rumours suggest that the Joker and the Terminator could make an appearance, but nothing is confirmed at the moment.
