NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, featuring Friendship finishers, one of them including Mileena. The fans were soon disappointed though since she won't really be in the game.
Mortal Kombat 11 Friendships trailer is just as wonky as it sounds. The game is all about beating each other into bloody pulps, only to start dismemberments with fatalities and brutalities at the end of a match. However, Friendship endings are a tradition in MK games and the eleventh instalment is not a stranger to them.
The trailer, seen below, features many of these moves, such as Scorpion's hug with a massive teddy bear and Terminator standing up on a moving bike while giving the players thumbs up.
One finisher, in particular, caught the fans attention though - Kitana and Mileena playing patty cake with each other. As you are probably aware by now, she has not appeared on in MK 11 yet, on the account of suffering a gruesome death in MK X at the hands of what is easily the series' most hated character, D'Vorah.
However, boundaries of who qualifies for participating in MK 11 are already loose since you can pit Joker and Terminator against each other, who don't even have anything to do with the game's universe. This gave Mileena's fans hope that they will get to play their favourite character but it was not meant to be as the official Mortal Kombat Twitter account soon shot these hopes down.
It stated that she is in the game as a cameo only since she will not be playable . Now it only remains to be seen if Batman will appear as a playable character since he can be seen in Joker's Friendship.
