New World is kicking off a new event soon after wrapping up the Springtide Bloom.
Holiday season takes place during Spring in New World it seems as the events just keep piling up, one after another.
The next event, Fury of the Spriggan, is starting on May 24 and will last until June 13, 2023.
Amazon Game Studios even put a bit of lore behind the event, noting that the spriggan menace is a result of awakening the Ennead, the dungeon that became available with Brimstone Sands.
Some Fury of the Spriggan rewards are not time-gated it seems as each event completion can yield
- A level-appropriate procedural weapon or armour piece (50 per cent chance)
- Guaranteed to be Rare or above.
- An item from the Global Named List (30 per cent)
- An item from the Spriggan Arena Named List (20 per cent)

Additional rewards will also be attached to completions, with the possibility of obtaining container resources, consumables and Obsidian Gypsum. The last one will abide by its daily limit.
Other rewards will be time-gated and they will come in up to three Caches whose count resets each day at 5:00 AM local time.
Fury of the Spriggan caches contain:
- Mossborne armour
- Mossborne weapon
- 250 Umbral Shards
- Flame Cores
Additional rewards can contain perk resources, named items, timeless shards or a Spriggan Flame Brazier house item.
