Rumours about Fnatic's new mid laner have been confirmed as the organisation has now officially announced that the young Slovenian player Tim Lipovšek, going by the handle Nemesis, will fill the role and the demanding shoes left by Caps.
Fnatic are known as the most decorated western team in League of Legends, consistently playing well, which could be attributed to their great organisation as well as talent scouting. The team brought many previously unknown players into stardom, including Rekkles, Huni, Reignover, Broxah, and Caps.
Speaking of which, it is Caps that Nemesis will be replacing so he will have his work cut out for him, due to the new G2 mid laner's dominant last season where he greatly helped Fnatic excel in EU LCS and reach the World Championship 2018 finals.
Nemesis' move to Fnatic is not finalised yet as the team is waiting for Riot Games' approval, which is pretty much a formality at this point. He should join the team on 03 December 2018.
While Caps won EU LCS and reached World Championship finals, Nemesis' season wasn't deprived of success either. He first went on to win SuperLiga Orange summer playoffs with MAD Lions and then proceeded to dominate Ninjas in Pyjamas in the finals of European Masters 2018 held in Madrid.
Despite being just 19 years old, Lipovšek didn't let the success get to his head, as he stated he is lucky to be drafted by a legendary team like Fnatic and is aware he will have to adapt fast and not fall behind the team. Nemesis added he would have the same mentality even if he wasn't filling Caps' shoes, whom he greatly appreciates.

According to Lipovšek, he knew that Caps is the best western mid laner about half a year before he joined Fnatic, so it will be interesting to see these two face off in LEC 2019, once G2 and Fnatic forces clash.
