Mortal Kombat 11 Halloween event is officially starting on 25 October 2019 and its bringing four new boss fights with special Halloween combat modifiers.
Mortal Kombat 11 has received a lot of new content lately and the developer NetherRealm Studios plan to bring even more freebies to players in the upcoming week. As Halloween is getting closer, the devs have officially announced plans for Mortal Kombat 11's special Halloween-themed event.
Starting officially on 25 October 2019, the free in-game event will introduce spooky vibe to NetherRealm's brutal fighter with four new boss fights, skins and more. These boss fights will come with their own special Halloween modifiers for an even greater challenge.
Some of these modifiers include flying bats and witches, pumpkins that rain down on players, black cats running across the screen and gravestones rising out of the floor. It's safe to say that NetherRealm didn't miss a single Halloween-themed trick.
As you can see in the image below, the Halloween event also brings brand new skins in Masquerade Skin Pack, which is available right now for $5.99. The skin pack includes three pretty cool skins - Calavera Liu Kang, Wicked Witch Jade and Psyko Killer Kabal.
Along with the skin pack, Halloween event also introduces new items to earn such as Halloween consumables, brand new brutalities and other in-game rewards.
Before the event goes live, Mortal Kombat 11 will add Team Raids mode on 18 October 2019. This new mode pits three players against a super-powerful version of boss characters.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Google Stadia version is also coming later this year.
