Creator of Mortal Kombat Ed Boon has revealed the first artwork of Mortal Kombat 11's second DLC character Sindel. Sindel makes a comeback to the series after being absent in both Mortal Kombat X and the base roster of the latest iteration.

Two months after the official launch, Mortal Kombat 11 is set to introduce the second DLC character to the fighting roster. This time, it's Sindel, the Queen of Edenia and mother of Kitana who is coming to exchange the blows in the ring.

Ed Boon, the creator of Mortal Kombat shared the first artwork of Sindel on this official Twitter profile. As you can see in the image above, Sindel is in her iconic purple armour, but it looks like NetherRealm opted for darker hair colour this time. Of course, this is only one of the available outfits and players will have the opportunity to unlock other ones and further customise it to their liking.

Sindel's most popular move is Banshee Scream which stuns the opponents, allowing for a free hit. Sindel can also float in the air and rip the skin off the opponent with her Deadly Scream fatality.

Unfortunately, Boon did not share additional details about Sindel or when exactly players can expect this DLC to arrive. However, we can assume that the release date is just around the corner since Boon is teasing the content on Twitter.

Sindel is the second of the six DLC characters that will eventually arrive to Mortal Kombat 11. Earlier this year, a villain Shang Tsung was introduced to the roster and Shao Khan was another DLC character, that was sadly an exclusive pre-order bait.

Other characters that will also join the roster through DLC are Nightwolf and Spawn, along with two yet unannounced fighters. There are some rumours that the Terminator and the Joker from Batman could arrive but we'll have to wait a little bit more for the official confirmation from NetherRealm Studios.
