NetherRealm revealed the fighter roster for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 closed beta. Players will get to choose from five characters including Scorpion, Skarlet, Baraka, Jade and Kabal. The closed beta will run from 28 to 31 March 2019.

NetherRealm is hosting a closed beta test for their brutal fighter Mortal Kombat 11 in just a few days now, and today, we got the first trailer that reveals some new details about the content that will be available for players to try.

According to the reveal trailer, NetherRealm will offer five fighters in the closed beta - Baraka, Jade, Kabal, Scorpion and Skarlet. Some players probably expected more but NetheRealm will also offer custom character variations for each of these fighters, and judging by the shot from the trailer, there will be five of them.

With five custom variations for each of the five characters, you'll have a lot of fighting styles to explore in just a few days time, but of course, the option to try out the rest of the character roster would be welcomed.

However, the closed beta is richer for two additional characters when compared to an online stress test that was hosted earlier. During the stress test, which was exclusive to North America region, only Baraka, Scorpion, and Skarlet were available.

If you're wondering about the number of fighting arenas that will be available during the closed beta, it looks like there will be three of them. NetherRealm didn't specifically mention the number, but judging by the trailer, the three arenas are the ones we already saw in the previous trailers and KombatKast gameplay footage.

As for the game modes, you'll be able to play online against other players and take on The Klassic Tower mode. There is no mention of local multiplayer, unfortunately.
