With a dropoff in the player counts, the time has arrived for server merges in New World and the details have been announced.
In case you are not familiar with the glossary, legacy servers are the ones that work normally and have no connection to the fresh start ones.
Merges will happen across several regions as the game is currently in a state where interest dwindles following the new release spike.
- Central Europe
- Tupia merges into Asgard
- Fae merges into Niflheim
- US East
- Eden merges into Olympus
- Themyscira and Frislandia merge into Heliopolis
- US West
- Aukumea merges into El Dorado
- Eridu merges into Delos
Some of the servers were opened to accommodate the massive influx of players when Brimstone Sands update occurred, which brought a lot of hype with the new map and weapon that were introduced.
Meanwhile, some players will likely be disappointed that some or all of their characters are now on the same server which provides them with the unique opportunity to join all Faction chats but not much else.
