YouTube channel TheGamingRevolution claims that Infinity Ward's upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have a ton of multiplayer modes variations including Demolition, Team Defender, Clan Wars, Cranked and battle royale.
Earlier this week, Infinity Ward released a launch roadmap for their upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The developers detailed what they plan to show in the next several weeks but there is still no sign of the full reveal for multiplayer modes that will be available once Modern Warfare launches.
Infinity Ward "only" plan to reveal additional crossplay details, give us a first look at the game's campaign and a co-op mode named Special Ops. And while players are eagerly awaiting to hear more about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer modes, YouTube channel named TheGamingRevolution claims that he knows a full lineup of the game's multiplayer modes.
TheGamingRevolution says that, according to the channel's sources, the developers are experimenting with several different multiplayer modes for Modern Warfare. The leaker claims that these modes could be full modes or limited-time modes and could also be changed or completely removed from the game before launch.
Anyway, according to the leaker, there are some exciting modes that are worth sharing including Team Defender, which was originally introduced in Modern Warfare 3. The mode tasks a team with defending one of their teammates while they hold onto a flag.
The second mode that TheGamingRevolution heard of is a new version of Demolition, which is a mode where you're out of the round if you die. The leaker also mentioned Clan Wars and Cranked modes from Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Furthermore, there is some info on the rumoured battle royale mode. We know from previous leaks that Infinity Ward and Activision plan to release Modern Warfare's battle royale next year as a standalone mode and that is still the plan according to the leaker who also claims that solo, duo, trio and squad will be included.
