It's Call of Duty leaks season once again. The latest info from industry insiders reveals some exciting features for this year's instalment of the popular shooter.
It's that time of the year once again. Call of Duty leaks are in full swing ahead of the game's official reveal, which is rumoured to be happening on Thursday, 19 August 2021.
At the time of writing a bunch of details have leaked including the game's Vanguard title, the official cover art for the Ultimate Edition and some details about the maps, and gameplay features.
A well-known industry insider Tom Henderson has been dropping small teases and hints via his Twitter, suggesting that Call of Duty VAnguard could have 24 maps in total, across all game modes - Multiplayer, Zombies, Ground War, Gun Fight and Warzone.
Additionally, he's teasing a dynamic weather system for multiplayer, which is certainly an exciting feature. If true, this would be the first time that a Call of Duty game implements such a feature, which would open new gameplay possibilities, especially in Warzone.
As for the Zombies mode, it looks like Treyarch are working on it. Henderson shared a Zombie song by Bad Wolves with a Treyarch logo, suggesting that the team is behind this year's iteration of this popular game mode.
Interestingly, it looks like Call of Duty games will no longer censor Nazi symbols like Swastikas. This could be due to the 2018 law in Germany, which now allows the usage of these symbols in some way.
