Firaxis hit the nail on the head in almost every aspect of Marvel's Midnight Suns, with the only immediately apparent issue being the performance and stability.
Several updates after release have been gradually dealing with those issues but when players got hungry for more Midnight Suns, they started playing NG+ only to be disappointed to see that almost nothing carried over from the original playthrough.
The latest update is trying to fix that with a few much-requested toggles.
NG+ toggles in Midnight Suns include:
- Hero Abilities - controls hero cards, abilities and Hunter collars and passives
- Friendship levels - to carry over friendship levels from NG and the associated rewards
- Resources - carries over Credits, Essence, Blueprints, Intel, Gloss and Arcane Knowledge
- Cosmetics - carries over cosmetic unlocks while the purchased ones are immediately available
Additionally, the Nest Mother and the Summoning Circle missions should appear properly during the first Act in NG+ campaigns instead of bugging out.
Besides the toggles and the aforementioned performance updates, the patch also brings along a few fixes, like Charlie properly scaling with Hunter's Champion level.
