Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles received another trailer that showcased the beautiful areas and the ambience of the game while also revealing the big date.
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles release date has been set for March 24, 2022, when the game will release simultaneously on Nintendo Switch, Xbox (One and onwards), PlayStation 4, Google Stadia and PC.
In the case of PC, Lumote is actually already available but it's the regular version of the game. The Mastermote Chronicles will expand the base game by adding another world and a new level of challenges, puzzles and collectables. Furthermore, the PC release will be simultaneous for all eligible storefronts, which include Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store.
For those not familiar with the game, the player will take control of the squishy bioluminescent creature, named Lumote. This adorable protagonist will set out on a quest to seize control over the depths from the Mastermote, which will be done through completing various 3D puzzles. Once that task is completed, Lumote becomes the Mastermote and players can then wrestle to take the control back with the other squishy.
While a good brain teaser is always welcome, Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles also draws players in with the beauty of the neon-filled world they will be going through, coupled with the mesmerising sounds that follow your every step. Well, you every skip since you'll be hopping around, rather than walking.
