LCS Championship got quite interesting when the favourites for NA first seed got knocked down to lower bracket in spectacular fashion.

League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Championship is a weird name to put on any tournament but learning the name if you weren't aware of it previously is hardly the biggest surprise of the weekend behind us.

What was once LCS Summer Playoffs brought an interesting development in the upper bracket as Cloud 9, who only barely managed to get past the summer sensation CLG, knocked the tournament's first seed down to the losers' bracket.

Evil Geniuses probably never saw this coming but C9's superior performance even appeared to tilt the regular season's champions, with an unprecedented situation in the dragon side of the river.

Namely, C9's jungler - Blaber, is known among the fans as Crabber for his unusual fixation with the Scuttle Crab, often feeding a kill to the enemy team or sacrificing Smite in order to secure it.

Well, this was the opposite day since it was EG's Inspired who smote the crab, going against all sense or reason to do it. The teams were doing the dragon dance as they both closed in on the objective, with C9 already having secured three dragons.

For some inexplicable reason, Inspired chose to smite the crab in full view of the enemy team, who were then made aware they can easily secure the soul of the dragon they already brought halfway down, which is exactly what they did.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out C9 won the match soon after that, with a total series score of 3-1. Considering the first game of the series was a steamroll in C9's favour, it is fair to say they completely outclassed EG, who were the favourites to win Championship up until this matchup.
