According to leaked artworks, the next Battlefield game could be titled "Battlefield 2042". This has also been confirmed by industry insider Tom Henderson.
The official Battlefield reveal is officially coming tomorrow, June 9, 2021. Yes, we are now less than 24 hours since the first trailer and a bunch of other official details including the subtitle the new game, which may have leaked online.
According to the artwork which you can see above, the official title of this year's Battlefield game will be Battlefield 2042. Now, we should note that the artwork has actually been put together with some other leaked images by someone from Tom Henderson's Discord server, to show that the lines match perfectly. And they indeed to match, which suggests that the image which shows the logo and "2042" subtitle could be legit after all.
But as always, please take this with a grain of salt, until officially announced. The reveal is coming tomorrow so we won't have to wait for too long to see if these leaks are indeed legit.
So far, a bunch of details about the game have already appeared on the internet. The biggest leak happened this weekend, when several legit gameplay screenshots surfaced on Discord, confirming the modern-day setting and absolutely gigantic maps. You can check those here.
Battlefield is set to launch sometime later this year. The release platforms are yet to be announced but we expect to see the game on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
