EA and DICE are gearing up for the release of Battlefield 6 across all platforms on October 10, 2025. In August, players were given the chance to try out the game through the open beta.
On the other hand, EA handpicked a certain number of players through their Battlefield Labs programme to play Battlefield 6 beforehand, which allowed them to get early feedback on the game before they went ahead with the beta.
Now weeks before the game's official release, EA is testing the new battle royale mode through Battlefield Labs. If you want to take part in future Battlefield projects, then here's how you can sign up for Battlefield Labs.
What is Battlefield Labs?
Battlefield Labs is EA's most ambitious community development collaboration ever, where a select number of fans will step inside the war room for testing out exclusive gaming projects. While EA encourages everyone to register, space will be limited.
How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs
To get into Battlefield Labs, you must first sign up for Battlefield Labs. While the selection process for the prorgramme is secretive, you can easily sign up for it by following these steps:
- Head to the Battlefield Labs website
- Click on "Get in the Lab"
- Log in to your EA account
- Then select "Become a Playtester"
- Agree to all the terms and conditions
- Then move on the Playtest Portal
- You'll be forwarded to a Survey, answer all the questions
- Once your registration is done, you'll see the option to sign up for Battlefield Labs
- Register your interest for Battlefield Labs
- You'll see a prompt suggesting that your interest has been registered, along with an additional survey
- Complete the survey to increase your chance of getting an invite to Battlefield Labs
- Once it's complete, you'll get future updates through your email if you are selected for Battlefield Labs
While the selection process for Battlefield Labs might seem random, your chances are increased if you answer the survey forms with accurate answers. Once you are selected for the programme, you'll be notified through your email about different playtest sessions.
