Patch 14.9, released on May 1, 2024, marks a significant shift in the League of Legends's meta. Riot Games is introducing several changes to shake things up, with Patch 14.10 poised to bring even more impactful adjustments.
Riot is not only rebalancing Corki's abilities, but they are also making major alterations to a variety of items, affecting ADCs, tanks, mages, and even boot choices. Additionally, they are planning to change the rune system by introducing new runes.
Although these changes are not yet confirmed, here's a summary of the planned adjustments, as shared by game designer Spideraxe. Remember, these buffs and nerfs may undergo further revisions before they are finalized.
Details about the Corki Rework on Patch 14.10
Base Stats:
- Base Health: Increased from 610 to 640.
- Health Growth: Reduced from 103 to 100.
- Base AD: Increased from 28 to 30.
- AD Growth: Reduced from 4.7 to 4.5.
- Base Attack Speed: Increased from 0.638 to 0.644.
- Attack Speed Ratio: Increased from 0.638 to 0.644.
Hextech Munitions (Passive):
- REMOVED: The Package ability has been removed.
- REMOVED: No longer converts 80% of AD to magic damage.
- NEW: Attacks now deal 15% additional true damage. This applies to critical hits and Spellblade processes.
Phosphorous Bomb (Q):
- Missile Speed: Increased from 1000 to 1100.
- Missile Minimum Travel Time: Reduced from 0.25 seconds to 0.227 seconds.
- Cooldown: Changed from 8 seconds at all ranks to 9/8.5/8/7.5/7 seconds.
- Mana Cost: Adjusted from 60/70/80/90/100 to 60/65/70/75/80.
Valkyrie (W):
- Tick Rate: Changed from 0.25 seconds to 0.5 seconds (total damage over 2.5 seconds remains unchanged).
- NEW: Now has a minimum range of 300 (Max range is still 600).
- Mana Cost: Changed from 80 at all ranks to 80/85/90/95/100.
Gatling Gun (E):
- Cooldown: Reduced from 16 seconds to 12 seconds.
- Mana Cost: Changed from 50 at all ranks to 50/55/60/65/70.
- Damage Type: Changed from 50% physical, 50% magic to 100% physical.
- Total Damage over 4 seconds: Adjusted from 120/170/220/270/320 (+240% base AD) to 100/150/200/250/300 (+200% base AD).
- Armor and Magic Resist Shred: Adjusted from 8/11/14/17/20 (after 8 ticks) to 12/15/18/21/24 (after 4 ticks).
Missile Barrage (R):
- Damage Type: Changed from magic to physical.
- Mana Cost: Increased from 20 to 35.
- Maximum Ammo: Reduced from 7 to 6.
- Ammo Recharge Rate: Changed from 12/11/10 seconds to 20 seconds at all ranks.
- NEW: Basic attacks now refund 5 seconds of ammo recharge time.
- Damage: Adjusted from 80/115/150 (+25/50/75% Total AD) (+12% AP) to 100/200/300 (+70% Total AD).
- Empowered R: Retains double the damage and attributes as before.
When is League of Legends patch 14.10 going live?
Patch 14.10 is set to be released on Wednesday, May 15, as per the official patch schedule. This patch is the 10th out of 24 planned updates for the year.
Considering the extensive planned changes, it's difficult to predict exactly how gameplay will be impacted. Each class will see adjustments, and champion nerfs and buffs haven't yet been specified. However, based on the scale of the changes, it's likely that ADCs will be significantly affected, with tanks also seeing notable adjustments.
