Patch 14.4 for League of Legends is the latest patch to hit Summoner's Rift. Even though this patch has been a work in progress for quite a long time, recently Riot added a few additional changes to the update.
Although these are not massive earth-shattering changes, they are necessary ones. These calculated tweaks by the developers have been implemented to stabilize the over and under-performing champions.
Let's hope these changes work out as RIot intended.
Latest changes to champions on Patch 14.4:
Aurelion Sol
Aurelion Sol was performing better than expected. So his Q god adjusted.
- Q's Bonus Magic Damage Per Second: 60>70>80>90>100 (+ 35% AP) (+ (3.1% Stardust)% of target's maximum health to 55>65>75>85>95 (+ 30% AP) (+ (3.1% Stardust)% of target's maximum health.
Ugot
Aka UrGOD has always been a unit that was tough to balance. Currently, he is in a sweet spot so he is not getting buffed or nerfed but receiving an interaction change with Hullbreaker.
- Hullbreaker now interacts properly with his on-hit damage reduction.
Zyra
Zyra has been overperforming as a support so her passive is getting adjusted.
- The Plant Damage is now: 20-88 (+18% AP) to 16-84 (+18% AP)
- The bonus Monster Damage is now: 40-100 to 60-100.
Twisted fate
Twisted Fate's update on 14.2 made him overpowered so he is receiving a small nerf to balance him.
- His base attack speed growth is now 2.5% instead of 3%
- His W's magic damage is nerfed from 40-120 (+100% AD) (+115% AP) to 40-120 (+100% AD) (+100% AP)
Latest changes to Runes on Patch 14.4
Lethal Tempo
- Melee Attack Speed Per Stack is now: 9-13.5% to 5-16%
Grasp of the Undying
- Now its Damage= Total Max Health gained
Legend
- Progress to Next Stack is now Attack Speed gained
Overheal
- It's total Shield Created is now = Damage Blocked
it's evident from the numbers that these are not some massive meta-shifting changes. These changes are intended to make the champions and runes more balanced.
Don't Miss:
