If the surrender votes were not annoying enough, you are in for a treat as League of Legends will provide even more voting queries over the course of a match.

Surrender vote spamming is one of the most annoying parts of the League of Legends experience but just in case some masochist didn't have enough of that, Riot Games will make sure your UI gets cluttered with more votes.

The thought behind the additional voting prompts is a good one - the devs are trying to improve communication between teammates by letting them vote on taking objectives.

For example, pinging a drake, herald or Baron will cause a vote popup for teammates, who can choose between Yes or No to tell the teammates whether they will be joining the objective attempt.

In theory, this is great but we have a feeling that it will be much more different in practice.

Besides being spammed by defeatist teammates during your climb, the surrender vote is annoying for another major reason - it covers a portion of your screen that you could be using to spot a gank, minion HP, enemy positioning, wards, peripheral vision and any number of other variables that affect your performance and possibly the outcome of a match.

Additionally, the new UI element that popped up on your screen usually drags your focus towards it when it could be better utilised elsewhere.

With objective voting, these distractions will occur much more frequently as players pinging on objectives is a normal thing that happens countless times during a match so let's hope the new vote prompt doesn't infuriate too many people who are just trying to do their own thing.
