Ubisoft have released Y3S3.2 update for Rainbow Six Siege on PC, while console players should get it on 31 October 2018. The patch fixed a pile of issues, but there weren't many balance changes, despite the recent player complaints.
Niclas "Pengu" Mouritzen, one of the most accomplished Rainbow Six Siege pro players has recently voiced his displeasure with the current state of the game, citing several operator design issues as well as bugs and exploits that plague the tactical shooter.
Unfortunately, one of the major issues Pengu mentioned , silent dropping , is not on the hefty list of fixes coming with the latest patch. Ubisoft did, however, fix an issue where players were deploying shields to windows preventing anyone from vaulting or repelling in.
Stun grenade visual effects could previously be cancelled in certain conditions, but that is no longer the case with this batch of fixes. Interestingly enough, Pengu also noted that flashbangs / stun grenades have rather odd mechanics in Rainbow Six Siege causing problems since even looking the opposite way can still flash the player to full effect.
To top it, he also stated that Ying's Candelas exploit the mechanics even more, going as far into the extremes that the grenade will still flash players even if they were prone looking into a wall on the opposite side of Ying's Candela.
Meanwhile, Mira received some love since Vector's recoil has been reduced which should help her land those much needed shots, if she aims to kill at least one opponent with a full magazine. Maverick has seen some bug fixes, including the one where the first blowtorch use on a wall would be silent, which should partially decrease the mental anguish of any defenders in his path.
Sledge and Smoke have also benefited from this patch since SMG-11's recoil was reduced, although the official patch notes do not state by how much. There is a list of fixes on the official post that is slightly shorter than the Great Wall of China, if you want to glance it.
