Ember Lab's action-adventure Kena: Bridge of Spirits has been delayed to September 21, the developer announced. The team need more time to make the best possible experience.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits won't be launching on August 24, 2021. Ember Lab, the developer of this gorgeous action-adventure revealed that they need more time to polish and optimise the game.
The delay is not that big, but it still pushes the game one month further into 2021. Kena: Bridge of Spirits should now release on September 21, 2021, if everything goes according to plan.
Here's the statement from Ember Lab:
"We have made the difficult decision to delay the release of Kena until September 21 to polish the game across all platforms. The team has been working extremely hard and we feel the extra time is critical to ensure the best experience possible.
We know many of you are eager to play and we appreciate your patience as the team continues to work on delivering the best version of Kena."
This is the second delay for Kena: Bridge of Spirits and we sincerely hope it will be the last one, since PlayStation and PC players have been eager to play it ever since Ember Lab first revealed the game at last year's PlayStation State of Play.
Of course, the devs should take all the time they need to make Kena a unique experience. As Nintendo director Shigeru Miyamoto once said: A delayed game is eventually good but a rushed one is forever bad.
