Well, we wouldn't put it past RIot Games to send some feelers out, and try to expand into the movie industry. After all, they are doing quite well for themselves.
If you ask any League of Legends fans about Riot Games , they'll tell you that it's a company that makes music videos and TV Shows based on a game they made on the side.
Now, while we all know this is a joke, it only goes to show just how recognized Riot Games' efforts have become in this endeavor, and how well-versed in it they actually are.
So, we wouldn't put it past Riot Games to continue with the trend, especially after the recent success Arcane had, not just with the League of Legends fans, but an even wider audience, and try their hand at making a movie.
After all, if Warcraft can d it, why can't League of Legends? it's not like one has more lore than the other.
Well, while nothing has been confirmed, rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, that this is exactly what's happening.
It's all based on the job openings Riot Games has in their recruitment lists and they are not just game designers, but copious voice actors, and most importantly, the Global Head of Live Action Film, and Global Head of Live-Action TV.
While Voice actors are vital for the development of new champions, the numbers are still a bit on the higher side, and these two head positions are nothing if not specialized in making Tv Shows and movies. So, all we can do now is wait, and hope some official information comes soon.
