After a long wait, we could finally see more of Crimson Desert next month. Pearl Abyss recently stated that the plan is to kick off a marketing campaign soon with an appearance at Gamescom, where the game will have a playable demo.
In addition, reliable insider Lunatic Ignus on social media X wrote that August is indeed the month when Crimson Desert will shine. He also teased a release date, stating that 2025 is the year when all stars align for this stunning RPG.
"August will be the month when Crimson Desert shines and 2025 will be the year when all stars align," the insider said, suggesting that we'll see more of the game next month while the release date is expected in 2025.
It's safe to assume that the game will be part of Gamescom's big Opening Night Live show, just like last year, when we saw a bunch of new gameplay that looked so good some players didn't even think the game was real.
We certainly don't blame them given that Crimson Desert has been delayed several times since its first trailer which aired almost five years ago. On top of this, the game is packed with various mechanics like fishing, climbing, and flying and we also saw some pretty big bosses so I totally understand why some people would think Crimson Desert looks too good to be real.
Crimson Desert does not have an official release date at the moment nor confirmed platforms. We only know that the game will be coming to PC and console, but which one it's not quite clear.
