Among the many interesting trailers Xbox Showcase treated us to tonight, the one about the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle game showed us something different. On the previous Showcase, we found out about this game; it was revealed then, but this time, we gained some insights into the story with this quite long trailer.
The new trailer showed us the meaning of the Great Circle, some locations Indy and Gina will be visiting, as well as a new charismatic villain called Gantz. We found out that Indiana will be in search of some stones whose discovery could change the world, as he said during the trailer.
As it was expected, when games like this are in question, we will be visiting many locations all over the world, as can be seen in this trailer too. From the tombs located in some exotic places, like Egyptian pyramids, all the way to the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, where this trailer actually takes place, this adventure will have it all.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to us sometimes during this year, but even though we expected an exact release date with this trailer, it didn't happen, so for this, we will have to wait for another opportunity; for now, it stays 2024 and no more than that.
Regarding the platforms the game will be released on, even though there have been some speculations that the game will be announced for PlayStation 5, it seems it was just wishful thinking after all. The game will be released on Xbox Series X|S and PC, and it will be available on Game Pass from day one.
