Guerilla Games are drawing closer to the launch of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC and now Aloy's adventures have minimum and recommended hardware specs to their name.
Horizon Zero Dawn launches on August 7, 2020, so not much longer, and if you're one of the faithful fans who intend to give it another whirl on PC - Guerrilla Games made sure to freshen the game up a bit just for the occasion.
First things first though, the specs from Epic's storefront list the following:
Minimum Configuration:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K@3.3GHz or AMD FX 6300@3.5GHz
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 50-100 GB available space
Recommended Configuration:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K@3.5GHz or Ryzen 5 1500X@3.5GHz
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 50-100 GB available space
That said, we're not exactly sure what sort of resolution and/or performance to expect from these, but it's safe to say that Horizon Zero Dawn won't kill your budget should you need to upgrade a thing or two to hit either of the above configs.
