To no one's surprise, Hogwarts Legacy is absolutely dominating pre-order charts across PC and consoles.
Strong pre-order numbers for WB Games' Hogwarts Legacy are just another proof that this Harry Potter universe RPG is one of the most, if not the most anticipated game of the year. On the PC platform Steam , Hogwarts Legacy is firmly holding the number one spot on the "Top Sellers" list, which means the game is selling like hotcakes.
According to video games industry analyst BenjiSales , the pre-order numbers on consoles are "very strong" too so we could be looking at the biggest launch of the year in terms of units and dollar sales.
Hogwarts Legacy is not out for another month so the pre-order numbers could get even higher as we get closer to the official release date, which is set for February 10, 2023.
Given that 2023 will be one of the biggest years ever for gaming with releases like Starfield and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 , Hogwarts Legacy will certainly have a lot of strong competition for the best-selling game of the 2023 crown but to be honest, we wouldn't be surprised one bit if it wipes the floor with the above-mentioned duo.
Harry Potter universe is huge worldwide with millions of loyal fans and this is the first, proper Harry Potter game in years so this crazy hype is the least we expect.

Hogwarts Legacy is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 10, 2023. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are coming on April 4, 2023, while the Nintendo Switch port drops on July 25, 2023.
