As the game draws closer to launch, IO Interactive and Warner Bros have rolled out a new Hitman 2 trailer, showing Agent 47's, ahem, business trip deep into the Colombian jungle. We sure hope there's an option to bring bug repellent though.

As the story goes, Agent 47 will be sneaking around the jungle so as to terminate three high-profile targets. Delgado cartel and its plentiful henchmen will of course be looking to throw a wrench in his plans, which again plays to Hitman 2's defining characteristic - stealth.

The trailer calls it slaying a three headed serpent, referring to three Delgado cartel leaders who will conveniently meet at a luxurious jungle resort. Thankfully though, Agent 47 is well equipped to throw them a fitting welcoming party. Call it a silent disco.

Hitman's trademark fibre wire makes a brief cameo around the 0:44 mark, along with the not-so-stealthy eye-catching parka. Obviously, stealth is not always as important - slick looks are. Oh well, we guess it'll come in handy should Agent 47 encounter meteorologic obstacles.

The game marks a departure from the earlier episodic model, for which Warner Bros and IO were heavily criticised in the past. The companies already announced a fixed number of Hitman 2 bundles, even though we're likely to see a decent amount of DLC.

We know that Hitman 2's first DLC is dubbed the Legacy Pack and will bring back six classic maps in freshly polished, shiny garments. We're talking about Hokkaido, Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, Bangkok and Colorado, all of which are eagerly anticipated by the game's faithful fans.

As Agent 47's arsenal was expanded in Hitman 2, so were the hostile security measures, so players will have to think fast on their feet. Should they afford themselves to be sloppy in tasks like hiding bodies, players will be notified of their oversights via realtime picture-in-picture reminders.

Developed by IO Interactive and published by Warner Bros, Hitman 2 is expected to launch for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 13 November 2018. In case your stealth-game has gone rusty in the meantime, you can check out Hitman 2's how-to trailer .
