Just in case you've forgotten the standard modus operandi of the popular bald killer Agent 47, IO Interactive have got you covered and the latest Hitman 2 trailer will quickly get you back in the loop of how to dispatch your foes with ease.
As we've grown to expect from the series, being stealthy means staying alive and Hitman 2 brings more of the same in a new package. Mini map will be one of your best friends in-game and cameras are here to ruin your day once again, although you'll have more input on where they're looking this time around.
Your actions will have consequences and Agent 47 will be getting picture-in-picture reminders of their, ahem, work being found out. Other than encouraging you to try and do a better job on hiding bodies next time, these reminders will help you plan your further course of action.
Agent 47 should be getting some new gear as well, such as dart guns and flash bangs, which should help with sneaking. Speaking of sneaking, mirrors are apparently a factor in the game as well, and may just spell a lost attempt at being stealthy, which should be interesting. Not losing attempts, mirrors.
IO Interactive already announced the first DLC in Hitman Legacy Pack, which will contain Hokkaido, Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, Bangkok and Colorado maps. The dev claims the maps have been polished and updated to reflect Hitman 2's shiny new looks and should be free for all who own the previous game.
Most players are enthusiastic over IO Interactive and Warner Bros' announcement of Hitman 2 departing from the earlier business formula, which meant milking Agent 47 via drip-feeding your playerbase with episodic content. So far, Hitman 2 is sticking to a few bundles in total, which would suggest they're serious, but maybe we should wait until the first round of DLC lands properly.
