AMD will release high-end Radeon RX graphics card it's been officially confirmed by the company's CEO Lisa Su. At the moment, the target release window is yet to be revealed.
AMD successfully launched several graphics cards in the last few months and this time, the Radeons are actually pretty good products, offering a lot of value for money, which is something that we always expect to see from AMD.
Radeon RX 5700 XT beats Nvidia's RTX 2070 for a superb 1440p performance while the latest card, RX 5600 is the king of the 1080p segment. However, many players expect to see more from AMD as the company is yet to release a high-end card to compete with Nvidia's fastest RTX cards - 2080 and 2080 Ti.
Recently, rumours started to surface that AMD are indeed working on a high-end Naavi card but until today, nothing has been officially confirmed. In an interview with PC World, AMD CEO Lisa Su has confirmed that high-end Navi card should be expected from players as the company will have a new beast sometime in the near future.
"I know those on Reddit want a high-end Navi! You should expect that we will have a high-end Navi, and that it is important to have it. The discrete graphics market, especially at the high end, is very important to us. So you should expect that we will have a high-end Navi, although I don’t usually comment on unannounced products," Lisa Su said.
As you can see, Su is still keeping everything under the wraps but it's safe to assume that the plans are indeed there and it should be only a matter time before we get some official news about the new card.
Rumours suggested that the new card will edge out RTX 2080 and even come close to 2080 Ti but take this with a grain of salt for now.
