Battlefield 2042 data miner temporyal has shared the first image of the unreleased map named Exposure, which could be coming to the game in Season 1.
Battlefield 2042 is a live service title which means EA and DICE will steadily deliver a lot of post-launch content updates that include new maps, operators, weapons and more. The content updates will kick off with Battlefield 2042's Season 1 which is rumoured to be launching in March 2022.
Today, Battlefield 2042 data miner temporyal shared the first leaked image of the new map that will be coming in Season 1 of Battlefield 2042. The map is reportedly called Exposure and it's set in Canada. As you can see in the concept art, it's another large scale map covered with forests and mountains as well as a small lake.
The concept art looks gorgeous with stunning vistas, mountains and yellow forests, capturing the Autumn season pretty nicely but it remains to be seen if the actual, in-game map looks as good as the concept art.
Temporyal managed to data-mine some map lore too. Apparently, the description of the map includes the following lines: "Landslide has exposed a secret research facility" and "Russians suspect a military weapon inside".
Keep in mind that this is just a preview of the unreleased info found in the game's files. It's possible that this map never makes it into the game since sometimes a lot of interesting stuff that is found in the game files can be just a leftover from an abandoned feature.
Until EA and DICE officially reveal the new map, take this as a rumour and nothing more.
