According to rumours, Rockstar Games could release a remastered version of Grand Theft Auto IV sometime in 2023 for current-gen and last-gen consoles and PC.
When rumours about GTA remaster first started to surface on gaming forums and social media, many GTA fans expected to see GTA IV as one of the remastered titles, since, arguably, this Niko's story is one of the most popular among the GTA community.
However, Rockstar decided to release GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas with fancy new graphics, leaving GTA IV fans with nothing to look forward to.
And while there is no official announcement for the GTA IV Remastered version, some insiders suggest that Rockstar are working on the port. According to leaker Ralph, GTA IV remastered could release in 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Apparently, it would be a full release bundled with Episodes from Liberty City DLC.
Additionally, the leaker states that GTA IV Remaster would only include single-player - multiplayer mode will not be available at launch.
It's certainly possible that Rockstar plan such a release in 2023, to hype players for a GTA VI reveal, which is reportedly coming in the same year but as always with leaks, rumours and unconfirmed reports, take everything with a grain of salt, until we get an official confirmation from Rockstar.
