Sucker Punch have already prepared a day one patch for their samurai action-adventure Ghost of Tsushima. The patch is 7.7 GB and it brings various localization and bug fixes.
Ghost of Tsushima is one of the most anticipated PlayStation 4 games this year and after a delay earlier this year, it's finally coming next month. Yesterday, the developer Sucker Punch confirmed that the game has finally gone gold, which means it is complete and ready for printing and shipping.
And while the devs indeed have the final build wrapped up, this does not mean that the game is without minor bugs and issues. That's why the devs confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima is getting a day one patch, which will be available to download once the game unlocks on its release date.
The size of the patch is 7.7 GB, suggesting that a lot of bugs and issues have been fixed for release. The devs also released patch notes which do not reveal much:
Ghost of Tsushima Update 1.01 Patch Notes
- Various Localization Fixes.
- Other Bug Fixes.
Ghost of Tsushima is officially hitting the shelves on July 17, 2020, exclusively for PlayStation 4. It will be available on PlayStation 5 too but the devs are yet to talk about the enhancements that the next-gen version will offer.
