A recent post on Reddit has revealed that Yae Miko will not make it into update 2.2. Considering that we're not even halfway through 2.0, this means that she won't become playable for a very long time. Update 2.3 should drop around December 3.
Even though we have no official confirmation, she could be a new Electro character based on her purple-themed design during the patch live stream. There are no official information, nor credible leaks describing Yae's weapon of choice. Although it wasn't directly mentioned during the live stream, it's safe to say that Yae Miko will be one of the most important characters of Inazuma.
