A recent post on Twitter from a credible Genshin Impact leaker has revealed the in-game animations for one of the upcoming characters, the Pyro Polearm user - Thoma.
The addition of a new character is probably the most exciting thing a casual Genshin Impact player is looking forward to, especially in the latter stages of the game when there aren't as many quests and events to enjoy.
miHoYo has already announced a couple of new characters on their official social media accounts. Those characters include Raiden Shogun, Kokomi, Kojou Sara and Aloy. All of these characters are expected to come in the foreseeable future. Raiden Shogun has already arrived on the live servers and Kokomi is expected to appear as the second banner character in the current update 2.1.
Recent posts from a credible Genshin Impact leaker UBatcha1 have revealed that Thoma will apparently be a part of the second banner for update 2.2 which means that he should arrive around November 15.
A tweet from another credible Genshin Impact leaker called abc64 has finally revealed a video featuring Tohma's combat animations:
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has already made clear that Thoma is probably the next character to be released. Recent leaks have revealed a bunch of interesting characters like Gorou, Tohma, Yae Miko and others. Even though we have no official confirmation, the majority of leaks claim that he's going to be a Pyro character. Also, the overall theme of his design strongly hints towards a Pyro character.
Tohma is a Polearm user which makes him the third Pyro character that uses the same weapon. There is no official information, nor credible leaks revealing Tohma's rarity. Many players are speculating that he could become a slightly weaker, four-star version of Hu Tao. Even if those rumours were true, miHoYo could still mix things up considering that he's one of, if not the most popular upcoming character.
