The addition of a new character is probably the most exciting thing a casual Genshin Impact player is looking forward to, especially in the latter stages of the game when there aren't as many quests and events to enjoy.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has finally confirmed that we are going to see a new addition to the character roster - Arataki Itto and Gorou. According to a leak on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit, Itto's ascension stat will be Critical Damage. This means that he will most likely be one of the strongest DPS characters in the game.
A recent tweet by a credible Genshin Impact leaker by the name Genshin Intel has revealed a brand new artifact set called Husk of Opulent Dreams which is expected to be a part of the upcoming update 2.3. The set has the following stats:
- two-piece bonus: Increases characters Defence by 30 per cent
- four-piece bonus: The on-field character's Geo damage grants an additional 6 per cent Defence and Geo damage, up to one stack every 0.3 seconds. This effect is capped to four stacks. When off-field, one stack is granted every 3 seconds. When no additional stacks are gained, the buff loses one stack every 6 seconds.
This artifact set will be the go-to for many Geo characters, especially Albedo and Itto. Albedo is one of the best supports in the game and this addition could make him even stronger. Arataki Itto is a DPS character who benefits from building Defence which means that this set could be the go-to choice for him as well.
