A recent tweet from a credible Genshin Impact leaker called abc64 has revealed a couple of animations for one of the upcoming Hydro Catalyst characters - Sangonomiya Kokomi.
The addition of a new character is probably the most exciting thing a casual Genshin Impact player is looking forward to, especially in the latter stages of the game when there aren't as many quests and events to enjoy.
miHoYo has already announced a couple of new characters on their official social media accounts. Those characters include Kazuha, Ayaka, Yoimiya and Sayu. All of these characters are expected to come in the foreseeable future. Recent leaks have revealed a bunch of interesting characters like Gorou, Kokomi, Sara and others.
A credible Genshin Impact leaker called abc64 has revealed a video on the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor discord channel featuring Kokomi's gameplay on one of the new islands from the upcoming update 2.1
Kokomi's appearance in the Genshin Impact 2.1 beta phase means that she will be a part of the next update which should drop around September 3. Many players were expecting her to be a five-star, but it seems like Kokomi will actually be a five-star character. The fanbase already gave her the nickname - Five-star Barbara referring to the already existing Hydro character - Barbara.

Her weapon of choice will be the Catalyst which makes her the second five-star Hydro Catalyst character, besides Mona. As you can see in the video above, upon activating her Elemental Burst, Kokomi will be able to run on water, which is similar to Mona's sprint interaction.
We don't have any official information about her Elemental Skill or Burst but it seems like her Burst will give some sorts of buffs for a short period of time which hints that she could be a good support or healer.
