Recent leaks on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit have apparently revealed that Hu Tao's will appear on the second banner of update 2.2. The banner will also bring the new four-star Thoma.
Genshin Impact updates 2.0 and 2.1 have brought much-needed fresh content after all the previous banner re-runs which kind of felt like filler updates. After numerous new characters like Ayaka, Yoimiya, Raiden Shogun and Sara, we could expect a character drought for the foreseeable future.
Hu Tao has certainly become one of the fan-favorite characters in Genshin Impact. She is one of the strongest characters in the game right now and probably the strongest DPS in the game alongside Ganyu and Eula. Hu Tao is a Pyro polearm user and she is one of the most important characters in the Liyue region.
A credible Leak on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has apparently revealed that at the moment, Hu Tao's re-run is scheduled to be released as the second banner of 2.2, but these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. The second banner should drop around November 7.
Yae Miko is another character mentioned in the leak and she's already become one of the fan-favorite characters in Genshin Impact. She has already made two appearances in the last two update previews (2.0 and 2.1) and according to the recent live stream, she will be the main character that takes us through the second part of Inazuma.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has already made clear that Thoma is probably the next character to be released. Recent leaks have revealed a bunch of interesting characters like Gorou, Tohma, Yae Miko and others. Even though we have no official confirmation, the majority of leaks claim that he's going to be a Pyro character. Also, the overall theme of his design strongly hints towards a Pyro character.
