A recent post on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has revealed some additional information about one of the upcoming characters, the Geo bow user - Gorou.
The addition of a new character is probably the most exciting thing a casual Genshin Impact player is looking forward to, especially in the latter stages of the game when there aren't as many quests and events to enjoy.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has already made clear that Thoma is probably the next character to be released. Recent leaks have revealed a bunch of interesting characters like Gorou, Tohma, Yae Miko and others. Even though we have no official confirmation, the majority of leaks claim that he's going to be a Pyro character. Also, the overall theme of his design strongly hints towards a Pyro character.
A credible leak on the Genshin Impact on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks apparently confirms . Even though we have no official confirmation, Gorou is expected to be a new Geo character, at least according to all the leaks.
Gorou is a Bow user which would make him the first Geo character with a bow. This could still be changed considering that characters like Albedo (sword) were rumoured to be bow users.
Gorou is rumoured to be mentioned in some of Kazuha's voice lines. He is apparently the leader of the resistance against the Inazuma Shogun. There is no official information nor leaks about Gorou's rarity.

When it comes to his release date, a couple of leaks hint that he could be a part of update 2.3 which will arrive around December 5. This means that players will have plenty of time to farm those precious Primogems in order to gather all six of his Constellations.
